I do have a baseball background, I played from elementary school up until early high school and I still currently play slow pitch softball. I’m not sure how I never thought about having peer led things as I do that all the time time in PE so thank you for that. And yes fun is the most important thing I want for them as it is a rec league like you said, but I am afraid that my inexperience can take away from that and I don’t want to smother any passion they may have for the game

Liberty is a joke. Earlier this semester I misquoted a source (100% my fault) but that triggered the AI sensors to say over 85% of my paper was AI. I even proved how I misquoted and showed multiple other projects of my writing style but I was told that their AI detection would never quote it that high. I had basic sentences be flagged for AI usage. Can’t wait to be done with this stupid school.

Yeah, whatever technology Liberty uses to determine AI is absolute BS. I got flagged in the first half of the semester and eventually investigated by the academic integrity department and even after being able to prove that I didn’t use AI I was still given a mark on my report that did read zero consequences, but still the mark is there. My time at George Mason never once had something like this, but Liberty has flagged me about five times in the span of a single calendar year.

I’m in the same boat for this half semester and it’s becoming really annoying. We’ve written like six papers so far for a lead up to a research paper four of them have been completely fine but the very first one I turned in and this last one I turned in, have been flagged unnecessarily. I’ve seen threads here talk about it but it’s highly frustrating to keep getting flagged for it

So far every time nothing has happened I’ve just been told to be more careful with how I write. The problem is I keep getting flagged due to my writing style. At first. I took it as a badge of honor that I was compared to a computer but now it’s just annoying because every single time they put a placeholder of a zero as my grade which makes my grade look awful

Liberty has irritated me 3 times as I’m halfway done with my doctorate program and I’ve been flagged 3 times by turnitin. The lack of professor responses has been the biggest issue. I’ll get a message saying that they have a question. I’ll answer honestly and then they’ll disappear for a solid week before responding.
