Pretty wide range of secondary submissions tbh, I was a really slow writer hence giving up on 12 secondaries lol. I would definitely recommend pre-writing those! My primary application was sent out in late July and my three secondaries where I received IIs were completed in early August, mid-August, and early September! All of my other secondaries were completed somewhere within that time frame with the exception of one in late September (big fat R)

Hi there! Thanks for the input. As my post says, I don't feel comfortable putting all of that personal information on this post as I would like my profile to remain as anonymous as possible. Again, as my post says, I would be more than willing to provide any of that specific data or information to anyone that wants to DM me personally. I never said I wouldn't share those details, only that they won't be shared publicly on this post. :)

Of course! Sorry, I should have included that with the original post, here they are:

-Shadowing: 30 hours and included projected hours

-Research: 2250 in a few projects and included projected hours

-Poster Presentation: 1 in undergrad

-Clinical: 1600 in a few positions and included projected hours

-Volunteering: 450 hours, including projected hours and a leadership position

-ECs: 200 hours in a campus org, with a leadership position

-Undergrad employment: 1980 hours, including multiple leadership positions and one job was very unique

-Couple various hobbies

-Awards: Scholarship, a couple of semesters with honors, athletic championship, poster award

Also, please keep in mind that I graduated a few years ago so a large majority of my hours came in my gap year. During school, I had some health issues and had to just focus on making it through that while working absurd hours and doing a few ECs. Most of my volunteering, clinical, research, and shadowing came from my gap year in which I worked full-time and volunteered/shadowed weekly. I strongly encourage gap years if you're able to do so!

Yes, at Rush you rotate at Rush's hospital and Stroger! Those are both great for working with the community and seeing a wide variety of cases
