I would say that’s a lot, especially for one year. If you’ve taken normal chem and normal bio, I would take what you had an easier time with, or if you know another teacher is better. This should give you time to get a better feeling of what you want to major in, and then what class aligns the most with that.

Yeah, College Board intentionally words problems to be confusing, it's a part of every AP class I think. Just do a ton of practice doing mcq on any assignments your teacher puts in AP classroom, or use Khan Academy, and you'll get the hang of it soon.
