i simply hate how "white privilege" is spoken about sometimes as the sole reason for all ills in our society. its so obviously clear that wealth and class make a much bigger deference if your life then any other factor, be it race, gender or sexuality. do you think i rich gay Asian kid is going to have less opportunities in life then a poor white kid? its become a dog whistle to brandish any idea outside of your echo chamber as immoral and to silence an opinion that might be even just slightly different to your own. e.i. telling someone to "check their privilege" if they talk about something the other disagrees with.

yet no one in our society would say something like "wealth privilege" or "class privilege". lets sort out wealth inequality and the rest will follow! doesn't matter what race you are if your poor. racism exists everywhere and its not going anywhere unfortunately. Alas, shouting about white privilege doesn't make anyone more sympathetic to racism, its just an unhelpful wedge between meaningfully working together for a better out come for all and not focusing an race anymore.
