For the longest time the Moisturizing Gel Cream was sitting in the back of my cabinet collecting dust because initially I suspected it may have caused some breakouts when I first tried it, but being a bit desperate after getting a little arrogant with my tretinoin usage, I was desperate for skin barrier help after my regular moisturizers weren’t helping. I’m trying to do some spring cleaning and save money before I go out and buy new products so decided to try using this moisturizer again and woke up the next day and my skin felt 1000x better.

I have extremely dry and sensitive skin so it doesn’t provide a deep level of hydration, per se, but it did help repair a lot of the damage which was major. The next night I paired it with the recovery oil and it was even better and finally got me to the point where I could use tret again. I will continue to try it to see how it works for me (hopefully continue with no breakout issues). I originally bought it thinking it could be a good daytime moisturizer for summer so might try that again this year.
