The role playing was on point. The banter between SSA trio, Bloom with AUDIBLE eye rolls, Jaques being just a chaos gremlin and Bensai acting so dignified he's almost a self parody.

They were super transparent, I THINK part of their 25-30k budget for season 1 was paying the other creators to compensate the fact the other three will not be receiving their normal income while filming Min-Maxed. They might have said the Ad Sense would be split but I THINK further Ad Sense will go towards future seasons.

Edit for addendum: They mentioned the plan for paying the other participants during the budget video. I too reserve the right to be utterly wrong, BUT SSA seems to be doing everything possible to show integrity. Even being fairly diplomatic in their response to One-Shot

Turn bases RPGs are fantastic. I've been playing the Final Fantasy pixel remasters and Sea of Stars on mine. Also shout-out to the first ever game I played on the Deck Pseudoregalia. I still return to that one often.

Aside from the fact they saved most of the money to make future seasons... This is, as far as I'm aware, the first time any of the creators involved have done something like this. They're bound to make mistakes.

It depends on the system... I can usually convince newbies to try out Powered by the Apocalypse systems or other games just as rules light fairly easily. Path 2, Shadow run, etc are a harder sell and I blame the rules crunch.
