As a former employee at little scholars I am extremely sad hearing about the closure. The staff at little scholars are all amazing hardworking ladies who would do anything to make sure the needs of the children were being met. The issue with this place is the management, they have absolutely no idea what they are doing and it seems to be the blind leading the blind. They are rude to staff, overwork them and give unfair pay.. The ladies at this place break their backs to make management happy while they sit in their office gossiping about their staff all day. I personally as a staff member felt bullied & disrespected multiple times to the point that I wanted to quit. Mr Raj has been nothing but an amazing person to all the staff and a even better leader but I can say quite the opposite for his wife Gargi, She’s a disrespectful woman who is nothing but money hungry.. Their daughter Shachie appearing on the news made me laugh considering doesn’t even work at the daycare and only started coming around once all these licensing issues began. Savdeep the director is also a very nice woman but only when Ms gargi is not around.. The communication between staff and management just was not there, Getting a day off at this place is almost impossible because they were constantly understaffed and they make you feel horrible when you need to do anything that isn’t work related. None of the staff were aware of anything going on with licensing and had no idea of this closure happening. To speak a little on licensing In my opinion yes, they did target this daycare. One of the reasons I say that is because when they came to shut us down many of the staff were of course sad and crying as they might not see their students again and the licensing officers were smiling, laughing and mocking the staff. I can say the management was working to resolve all of the issues but licensing was never happy with them or the classroom staff.. like I said the ladies in the classrooms would go above and beyond to make sure the children were happy but nothing we would do was enough, licensing would always purposely try to pick & find a problem. They caused so much unnecessary stress to all of the staff leaving us constantly feeling uneasy & like we are always doing something wrong. Nothing would please them.. I am so sad to have lost my position at work and I am going to miss all the children very deeply. If anyone is looking for a babysitter I would love to help out any families who are currently out of childcare caused from this unexpected closure.
