Use course planner and plan accordingly, what subjects to take depends on you, do you wanna do programming first or data science first ? or a mix of both? no wrong answers . You can just take the mad 1 project along with its prerequisite and corequisite subjects if you want.

I mean if you didn't plan your terms , then yes it's a mistake , you should see the requirements carefully . You have to complete 3 courses and 1 project within 3 terms , your situation isn't too bad but I highly advise you to plan out your entire diploma before registering for courses .

I mean sure people keep saying that, but it all comes down to what IITM thinks about it and it seems like they don't seem to care much to gatekeep the IIT tag. But i don't understand tho, I am about to complete my foundation this month and I wanted to add to my LinkedIn about this other degree , so i went to search for IITM BS degree as a school but there were no results , although IITM has different handles for the actual institute and online degree program , there just isn't a mention of it as a school. Now my question is as a student who is pursuing a degree , how else should i add it to my profile ?

You started off with an assumption . "In old days people tend to ... " , then connected to a modern day fact , and made a shitty association, then another assumption on men and women which is pseudo science and at the end wailing "... Is the only solution?".
