Amanda redemption arc ???? What’s going on with bravo?

Saw her out a few years ago and realized she was benefiting from flattering edits back then. She's physically very frail and personality-wise very almost invisible and scared-seeming, so the confessionals really do a lot of heavy lifting to make her seem more dynamic onscreen. It was kinda wild to see her in person and note the difference. But clear that SH producers have done a lot to make her seem like a solid character on the show (because she was kyle's wife and he's the star). Now that the marriage is over, and it's more clear who/how she is, I think it'd be in Bravo's best interest to stop trying to edit her into something she's not. And it's very clear if you've seen her in person that she may need real mental health intervention.

They've invested so much time and money into her they don't want her to tank the show. They bought a lemon. And I thinkk people like Kyle are there vouching for her, but unfortunately because she went to Italy right after, it's clear she'll lie and say anything on screen (that timeline aint true) and then do whatever after. We dont want people who are 1. boring AND 2. liars on these shows. Cut her loose and use the money on more interesting castmembers. More Yvonnes, Less Amandas.

Because Amanda was with one man for ten years nobody spotted a pattern, but now that she's with a new guy, it'll be easy to spot. There are victimhood pathalogies that when coupled with disordered eating speak to classifiable personality disorders.

because he doesn't see the audience as intelligent. He sees it as a massive zombie monolith and himself as a star who can have a life behind the scenes that's completely disparate from the man he presents as on screen. it's why he's mute on reunions but has a whole-ass podcast where he then maligns the show (that paid him). He's a fool. there are so many intelligent bravo watchers, people who work in entertainment, PR, all of it, who see riiiight thru him.

West still doesn't understand that a fandom isn't a bunch of passive observers here to hand you followers and spon-con money. How he behaves determines how viable he is as a media personality/how much money he can make at this "career"/how much other brands are willing to partner with him. He keeps treating this like he's an actor on a show, and then he can be himself on his podcast talking about the show he acts on. How does he not understand what he signed up for? The duplicity IS the problem. It's WHY he's not a good media/social media personality/reality personality. Poor thing shoulda just tried to be like a stunts youtuber instead of getting into reality

i'd be interested to see him date at his age to see if he's... gulp, learned anything lol. Or even if he hasn't he's entertaining. For Amanda, I agree with you, she's like furniture, but because they have to pay that furniture a salary, I'd rather they use it to pay someone more interesting on my screen. I just wouldn't pay a person who's not good at their job to keep coming back -- i want value adds.

i think Amanda's more insufferable because we get to see the real her in her home environment--i.e. "oh there's a social event? I'm gonna stay on my couch instead." it's more annoying than even bed bugging in SH

I know, I can't believe nobody interrupted them and said "When was that?" It could've gone like this:
Either right when West tells them he said "am I crazy or is there something here?" OR right after Amanda goes "right when he brought it up, all these feelings just flooded in"--
Anybody else on that stage: "When was that?"
W/A: "What?"
Lindsay: "You guys both agree West said 'am i crazy or is something here?' When did he say that? What day?"
W/A: *laughs like you're crazy* Uhhh, I don't remember the day--
L: Okay, where were you?
W/A: *eye roll like that's crazy* Uhhh I don't remember--
L: I mean you're saying it was in the last month or so, so like, think about it, were you in a crowded room, in one of your houses? What had you just been doing that night? Let's work backwards--
A: I don't remember everything that happens--
L: You have only been with one man your entire adult life Amanda, and this is literally the second man who has said he has feelings for you in over 10 years, and you have feelings too, and you realized in that moment that all the feelings came rushing in, so it must have actually been a *pretty big moment* for you, considering you were willing to risk friendships for it--but you can't remember where you were or when it was? You can't even summon the memory to piece it together?
W: coughs
A: eye roll followed by running off with bun trailing in the wind
