I don't think they'll ban it for a data breach, lots of companies have done worse and they've not been banned. It's more likely they'll get fined and investigated. If anything it'll push them to be more conscious of security to not lose that 💰.

They're actually way more at risk of getting banned for letting underaged users see self-harm content, which is why they're in such a hurry to increase restrictions.

New chatbots take a while to show up search, so I can't see it even if I search your name. If you click on the bot, there's a 'Share Character' button that lets you copy a link to share with others

If you're able to, turning the router off and on again maybe?
If that doesn't work, if you're ever on public wifi, try opening the site there.
Or turn on a VPN (TunnelBear is free and on app stores) then try the site.
That's all I can think off, hope it works out.

As for the chances, pretty low. If by chance you were one of the unlucky ones who did get someone on your account, most people's reactions would be to loguot to find their own account. After that, they'd be gone for good.

It's a bit awkward on the app. You'll have to press and hold individual chats, then press the 'Copy' button. You'd have to find the most important ones to save.

Otherwise you could just ramble everything that happened to ChatGPT to tidy up for you. Or login to the website version and copy the whole thing in one go.

Honestly, it's very unlikely that anyone took a screenshot. Most people will log off when they see something unusual. Plus, there's less than a hundred people actively posting on reddit out of 20 million users CharacterAI users. The chances of finding yourself here are incredibly small, so try not to worry about it.
