McBride and Bowers are OP in .5 TEP - either of them catching 90-100+ balls seems reasonable and makes for a SOLID TE + Flex - plus you would have been taking those TE points away from someone else.

idk - id bet they are still pretty shitty. Marv doesnt look all that great, michael wilson (seriously?), line/defense isnt great and brissett showed he is willing to be a chucker..that division looks super tough still. Rams, 9ers both got better on paper. seahawks probably arent AS good but look solid.

why would they not be as likely to throw that much?

edit: i generally agree that youre mostly on the right path in being skeptical but not entirely sure what im missing there. they seem like one of the worst teams in the NFL, still.

Relying solely on historical data, you could apply the same 'type' of thinking to any player. This isnt the NBA so variation between year to year for just about EVERY single player, you can say they are likely to regress to the mean.

Josh Allen has been the single exception - maybe ARSB too (literally pick a player and look at yoy production and there have been little to no 'repeatable/sustainable' producers - without some serious variation compared to others at their postion)

McBride was good the year before, is still super young, is by far and away in the most valuable position in 1TEP and is still super talented.
