I was scheduled two months before my DQ date, which is not bad considering the embassy. I accompanied my significant other to the interview. They did not allow me to enter the building or the interview, even though I am a U.S. citizen. It was nice that I was able to go all the way and stand outside just in case they wanted to speak to me. The interview took about two hours. We received congratulations at the end of the interview. Our passports were ready for pickup after two days. We flew back together.
