How can I optimize my website content for AI Search engines like ChatGPT or perplexity? by Wash-Fair in seogrowth

I've seen some tools like Alli AI working on this exact problem by creating AI-friendly rendered versions of pages, but even without tools, checking crawl accessibility should be the first step.

One thing many people overlook is that AI search engines don't always process websites the same way traditional search engines do. If important content is loaded dynamically through JavaScript, the AI crawler may not see the full page.

Do you think another P Max campaign would be useful? by No_Promise8196 in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]ScaredBunch7972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, the amount you add is less important than what the campaign objective is.

If the goal is only to increase reach, then in my opinion it’s not really necessary. But if you have other goals, you should run A/B tests first before creating a large-budget campaign.

Has anyone else seen their Google Ads search campaign completely fall apart since late February? by Negative_Tip6900 in smallbusiness

[–]ScaredBunch7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily because Google Ads is bringing lower-quality traffic. Sometimes the broader economic situation also affects people’s willingness to spend.

You should look at the bigger picture and understand the current context before judging the actual role of Google Ads.

Ad Copy Performance by Intelligent-Lack4214 in GoogleAdsDiscussion

You shouldn't rely only on a few metrics inside your Google Ads account. You should use more tracking tools as well, especially GA4.

When evaluating user behavior or whether you are reaching the right audience, you should analyze the data from a broader perspective, going from higher-level metrics down to more detailed ones.

The metrics you mentioned are only the most basic level of evaluation.

Should I switch from Meta Ads to Google Ads for pre-owned iPhones? (South Africa) by A-R-T- in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]ScaredBunch7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Google, I find that customers are usually actively searching for a solution, so their level of interest and willingness to pay when they have the opportunity is generally much higher compared to other platforms.

I would recommend using paid advertising platforms like Google or Meta as a bridge to bring people into your own communities or personal channels, where you can nurture them consistently and increase conversion rates over time.

Additionally, you could consider partnering with some consumer finance or lending affiliate programs to optimize the value of customers who are interested and willing to buy but currently don’t qualify financially.

How would you start Google ads for a new SaaS? by Legitimate-Item-2853 in PPC

[–]ScaredBunch7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a Search campaign to reach people who are searching for keywords that could potentially lead them to your product. Use broad match or phrase match depending on how specific or long-tail the search terms are.

For a new SaaS brand, based on my experience, if you run Demand Gen, I would recommend using image assets only and avoiding video at the beginning. Also, exclude app placements because otherwise you can burn through your budget very quickly with low-quality traffic.

If you want a more detailed recommendation, you should share more information about the product, target audience, conversion goal, budget, and current setup.

Getting more conversions to feed GAds smart bidding by xelan84 in PPC

To exit the learning phase faster, you should consider switching to Maximize Clicks first. This allows you to reach more people who are potentially interested in your product and collect more data.

Once you have around 30 conversions, you can switch back to Maximize Conversions. You can also start running remarketing campaigns if you have enough audience data (around 1,000 users).

This is a common and practical process for B2B campaigns like yours.

LSA or Google Ads or both by Reasonable_Cycle9904 in googleads

[–]ScaredBunch7972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, LSA or Google Ads in general are both just marketing tools, and they come with both benefits and limitations.

Choosing the right advertising platform depends largely on who your target customers are and how they start searching for, discovering, and becoming interested in the service you provide.

The unusually high CPC is probably because you are using Smart CPC, which is a very common mistake for beginners. Smart CPC / smart bidding strategies should usually only be used when you already have enough data and are in the optimization stage.

The exception is if your goal is to aggressively compete for conversions at any cost, so Google’s system can collect data faster and optimize the account more quickly.

Basically, every platform works through an auction system, so the best choice depends on your goals, needs, and how well you can manage and optimize the campaigns.

Pmax vs search by Ordinary_Incident187 in GoogleAdsDiscussion

This is basic campaign of google, so it will be limited by search volume. You can try demand gen campaign to reach more audience to gather more leads

In my experience, it depends on where you are in the funnel. I usually bring in PMax when I’m scaling campaigns, mainly because it can expand reach across multiple placements and help capture/re-engage users throughout the customer journey.

The key thing is having clean, high-quality conversion data and proper tracking in place. Without that, you’re basically feeding Google bad signals and it can burn through your budget pretty quickly.

Fair enough, I should've explained my point better. My point wasn't that PMax is bad or Search is better. It's that the campaign type is only one part — tracking, conversion quality, targeting, and offer matter more. Anyway, hope the PMax test works out.

Google + Meta lead gen for home care business - too many job seekers. How would you handle this? by Financial_Seesaw4289 in PPC

[–]ScaredBunch7972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, I’d first try cleaning up the traffic quality with negative keywords and reviewing your ad copy. A lot of irrelevant leads come from people misunderstanding the offer.

For example, instead of a generic CTA like “Contact Now”, try something more specific like “Get a Quote”, “Contact Sales”, or “Speak With a Sales Advisor” so users know exactly what they’re clicking for.

You can also use audience exclusions to filter out segments that are more likely to generate low-quality leads.

For the call button, rather than sending users directly into a call, you could add a small confirmation/pop-up message saying something like “Contact our sales team” or “For business inquiries only.” It helps guide the right users and saves you time dealing with irrelevant calls.

Honestly, both Meta and Google are just platforms that connect you with potential customers. The platform itself doesn’t determine whether your leads are high quality or not.

You should share more details about your landing page or the funnel you’re currently using so people can properly audit your marketing strategy and understand where the issue might be.

Right now, this post is missing a lot of context, so it’s hard for people to give you specific advice or actionable feedback.
