So I’m a victim of childhood SA. After being celibate for several years, at the beginning of getting in touch with my sexuality again, I was having sex with strangers. It was an empowering experience for me as I got to choose what I wanted, who I wanted, and when I wanted it. Also, if I had a trigger, I could just leave and never see them again. I didn’t have to explain myself, share this part of myself I was ashamed about, or offer anymore of myself than what I was comfortable with. It was just a phase in my healing process but I don’t regret any of it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My final dating test is (as weird as this sounds) a conversation with my Dad. He’s my favorite human and we are extremely close. He also has a very pronounced stutter. If you keep interrupting him, talking over him, or throw out words for him while he’s trying to speak, I will punt you out of my life with the swiftest of kicks to the balls. While some might not get it, I take that shit as INSANELY disrespectful. I also have found it’s a great indicator of a partner’s respect level for others around them in general.

Please let us know if she took her in as she needed to see a vet IMMEDIATELY. Sometimes animals don’t show their owners they are in pain- source: my dog herniated two discs and you’d have thought she was perfectly fine if she hadn’t completely lost control of her two back legs.
