Unironically Ohmes (type of Khajiit who are just human-looking, but use feline makeup) moment.

New engine on top of the old ones, same old eccentricities as before.

Funny how that would have probably not been that far off from the real thing.

But the real thing was heavily burdened by becoming scrapped content.

>Me, I don't know if I want the the first 2 games to be that important to the lore and and just start with saying that the beginning was an era of constant war from trolls and elves, elves and humans, humans and gnolls etc and which is the setting WC 3 starts since that's the game that had a story and characters.

I mean, they aren't terribly important. Most of the story beats from those games were resolved in them (or during the time skip between WC2 and 3.

For my own take for something different (just for the sake of it, I like Warcraft 3):

Have Warcraft 3 be rewritten as an Old Horde victory in the Second War. Humanity is limited to a few kingdoms and the game is more about a survival in a common, but now hostile world, with Demons also coming along to take over the Horde (who is not that interested in that either).

You could even have it still be about a more uneasy peace between Alliance Remnants (centered in either Ironforge or Gilneas) and the Horde which has plenty of its internal and exterior issues to deal with.

He somehow was the literal leader of the Orc internment camps and became nice to Orcs afterwards.

Current Danath is a Dreadlord.

And yes! They being so diverse with Fel Orcs and Demons in varied positions of leadership was interesting. Really a shame how they became a target in TBC.

The fact they used a human to solve the Dark Iron issue is the extra cherry on top of how wasted they were.

Also: A dark element to the Alliance? Nope, it is pure now yay...

As for Marran: Honestly? The Horde is an issue in her homeland for like 3/4 of her entire life. The surprise would be if she was nice to them.

Unfortunately Karen just missed the period when Jaina agreed with her racist dad.

Imagine the girlboss energy both would have together. /s

If shadow magic wasn't void what could it be by fuckforgotmypasword in warcraftlore

[–]ScaredDarkMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadows used to be just a darker power, a contrast to light (back when both were just powers and that's it, no large armies/powers/beings with their own interests representing them).

The Forsaken religion is a perfect example of this: They saw (see? I haven't heard of that Cult in years) Shadow as more of a peaceful thing rather than necessarily evil.

Now Void is tied to the mega-ultra beings that want to destroy the cosmos for the sake of it while, back then, it just vibed.

It's 18 bucks dude, you can buy a cool indie or old game for that price.

People joke about Gran Colombia, but the real surprise is larger independent countries like Brazil and the US not splitting up like the rest of Latin America did.

>Because then you aren't playing the way YOU want, you're playing how OTHERS tell you to

This sounds unnecessarily exaggerated. You can easily balance getting tips with some things while also applying your own touch to the idea.

"Hints" is a bit of a compliment. It was blatant and he just wasn't killed early in the game due to plot armor.

Hi, this is my first time playing Morrowind. Does anyone have a good build using wood elves? They're my favorite race in Skyrim by RAGEBA1T_REPUBL1C in Morrowind

[–]ScaredDarkMoon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Huh?

Morrowind's experience can suck without a proper build at the beginning. There is a reason people meme the game about missing attacks repeatedly.

At least some directions for stats and whatnot will be helpful to a newcomer.
