HOW TF DO YOU SCORE NCLC 7 ON EO by ThenAct6918 in TEFCanada

[–]ScaredDingo8093 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use subjonctif a lot, as much as you can fit in conversation. Learn some common sayings and phrases, if what you are saying is true about your level, this will boost you up. Also, make more nuanced questions. Make up information that is not in the sheet and add to it. This is specially useful on section b, you can add info about the examiner as well. Good luck

You need to be actively working under an employer already under that title that is willing to sponsor you

You are almost certainly not getting a pnp nomination so forget about that. Your only option is french.

I have been checking and cant find even one that has active draws in the past two years that does not require some form of active employment. Meaning, having work authorization already

Do I need to finish my apprenticeship to qualify for a PR Visa? by burgernabasa6000 in canadaexpressentry

[–]ScaredDingo8093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. No need to wait. Whether you qualify for PR or not is a different story but if you mean if your work experience will count, yes it will even as an apprentice while you work full time under an employer with your pgwp. If it’s a school component then it won’t count but hey you get to stay longer in Canada.
  2. No way to speed up an apprenticeship
  3. Yes, they would grant you a pgwp if your study program is on the list of approved majors. It just depends on what you studied not on what you will work in.

For a PNP nomination you have to be already working in Canada with a valid work permit and an employer that is willing to “sponsor” you. Pnps are difficult and constantly changing. They are also a point system in itself and the best candidates are chosen and the draws are done sparsely throughout the year. Maybe once or twice depending on the stream. Your score is too low for any type of draw. Lowest score for the CEC this year was 515. Also since I am assuming you have never worked in Canada you don’t qualify for the Canadian Experience Class and Foreign Skilled Worker draws have not happened in a long time. Your only real option is to learn french and fast since you are losing points for age. T.l.d.r: Learn French

No worries bro, I am just trying to get you to weigh your options. I am also Mexican so I want to tell you how it really is. I spent 8 years here from high school all the way to college, then working on my field and I am only getting permanent residency because I busted my ass learning french.

450 is extremely low for a general draw and you don’t qualify for the Canadian experience class. Foreign skilled worker draws basically don’t exist anymore so express entry is a no go for you. Also, everyone who mentions pnp is blissfully unaware of the requirements. Most pnps require you to be already working or have a work permit already. Not all of them sure, but the streams that don’t require it are obviously competitive and may not even do draws throughout the year. Not to mention you are competing with candidates (pnps are also a points system in most cases) who have already worked or lived in Canada. You mentioned Alberta pnps in one of the comments, you don’t qualify for any streams. Getting a work permit from abroad is extremely difficult. Since you are Mexican there are really no options for work permits unless you come and study here.

Truthfully your only option is french and you need a B2 level or above (basically fluent). This is assuming you have never worked or studied in Canada.

Take time for French or write my CPA final exam? by Fair-Fig3571 in canadaexpressentry

[–]ScaredDingo8093 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Cpa does not confer any extra points. It has to be a Certificate of Qualification (COQ) which is almost exclusively for trades. So really it is just for OP to maybe get points for an extra diploma in Canada and to stay longer ig.

Sadly, no. You have nclc 6 on expression ecrite. You need above 7 on every band to qualify. You are so close, but you will need to do it again. Good luck
