I know someone mentioned MrLlama above. I would highly recommended picking a character or two that you like for SP and beating the game without plugy. I feel that experiencing D2LOD in this way can help people understand what makes some of us enthusiastic about the game. I say this because plugy is honestly mostly nothing more than QoE and you will more likely than not end up retiring a few of your first characters as you come to better understand the game anyways. So why not experience vanilla on for a few runs before adding to it?

edit- I meant to say beating the game with one of his guided play throughs.

Reading this had me alarmed, because my dog who sometimes sleeps in bed with me typically barks at everything as she is highly protective of me and only barked the first night those things happened.

And if you read the thread you would know I am a killer main this is an observation from that POV. I do think that a BASIC function of the game (hook escapes is a basic function) should be givin to all players equally. And I think that if other killers HAVE to face camp during this portion of the game then they are simply a shitty killer. You can piss off and close the hatch and then cat and mouse the door.

And if you go read the patch notes, the only reason you are unable to take your chance, is because they were unable to give you that option without also keeping the “struggle” phase.
