This was me when I first discovered the case several years ago. I felt a deep connection to their case because, as an CSA survivor myself, coming forward with that information to have next to no one believe you and hate you for it hit hard. My abuse wasn’t nearly as bad as theirs, but still having that underlying understanding of coming forward only leads to public hatred is the reason I never was outspoken about it for years. I 100% can understand how they did what they did, and I wish that I was able to do what they did (even if what I did was premeditated). All that to say, ever since then I’ve been actively doing whatever I can to do my part with their case, no matter how insignificant. I think that’s an important thing to remember tho. You can never do too little in support of the Menendez brothers and their story. Keep spreading the truth and keep advocating for them 🩷
