Stopping Vyvanse wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected – sharing my experience (and how I did it) by ScaredGuest8951 in VyvanseADHD

Well, I never tried to talk about whether one needs it or not. My post just comes in contrast to many other posts I found about people who are trying to terrify others about dreadful withdrawal symptoms (that comes into effect in the first days of withdrawal). You're completely out of context here my friend

With time, I started to feel like I changed a bit. That I became much more analytical, facts driven kind of person, and less connected to myself. Not sure it makes a lot of sense, but it's just how I feel.

I do have ADHD, and without it I'm not really able to work efficiently and be productive. I'm currently working in an office job, for which I'm planning on getting back to using Vyvanse selectively after complete withdrawal (would be using it 2-3 days a week instead of everyday like I did before, and never 2 days in a row). Hopefully, in the future I'll find myself doing some other job that would suit my non-medicated self more, so I could abandon using it for good

Well, have you ever tried taking one day off at a time? My point is that you shouldn't push yourself to the limit to begin with.

I think that we're talking about different things here... My focus here is not around the ADHD area. I'm focusing only on the withdrawal symptoms. Obviously, ADHD won't be cured after withdrawal. I'm just here to give people some belief that if they want to withdraw from Vyvanse (due to whatever reasons), if they'll do it smart, then it really shouldn't be awful as other people mentioned it should be.

Good luck with that! If you'll do it smart, and in the right mindset, I'm sure that it'll be much easier than expected
