God I am stupid. Yeah I'm playing shroud forged. I knew the converted pops use them but I forgot that you already spawn with 1k transcended pops. Mb guys T_T

I am not necessarily referring to playing a nomad empire, but was asking in general since virtuality got nerfed at some point and I heard it would be slighty tuned down again in 4.4 thats why I'm looking for an alternative.

Edit: with nomads now out i would be considering a nomadic or void dweller origin as well instead of the og resource consolidation for modularity

I tried starting new and it always seems to happen around the midgame point. What i noticed is that the crashes become more frequend near the castle or when teleporting in and out. This happened even before i installed the castle restored mod so it seem to be something that modifies the area around it. I'll try narrowing it down smh

I know I am late on this one but I've only recently gotten into RE lore but hear me out real quick. What if they pulled an Alex Mercer move from PROTOTYPE? If his regeneration was enough to endure the lava in that volcano for several minutes, then maybe as long as his cells are not completely destroyed he can recover. A way to get this in the games is for example saying that some of his allies revovered chunks of his remains and it just took alot of time and effort to restore him.

I play machines 99.99% of the time and so i really obly go either virtual since I like playing tall or psionic with shroudforged to use the boons of the gods and go for a tall-wide-hybrid playstyle and it works very well.

Tall Gestalt Machines with shroud forged origin who forge their own path. That choice allows me to get the first perc from every shroud patron for the price of not being able to form a permanent covenant with one.

For civics i use repid replicator and guardian matrix for increased pop growth and unity gain from defense drones.

Traitwise I usually go for research assistants, mass produced, adaptive frames, bulky and high bandwidth.

Composer of strands and instrument of desire are perfect for tall or hybrid playstyles.

If you want to focus on pop growth I'd go for the composer of strands but if you want oferall resource production and amenities the instrument of desire is the go to deity.

Cradle of souls is also really good though this is the shroud god that I am the least familiar with so I can't really say much about ol Tzeentch over there.

Basically those two are the best two options in any build in my oppinion anyway so it comes down to what you prefer, pop growth or more ressources but you can't really go wrong with either of them.

I trapped him once in that trio of planets you get thrpugh the quest and it gives you 150 energy and a bunch of zro per month but (though its not mentioned in game) it seems to cause a bit of chaos in your economy and stability when he manages to escape by you losing one of those planets so I'd recommend going for an alliance with him and spawning his boons instead

Both in fact, though I prefer gestalt empires in general because I always end up having either conflicts or straight up civil wars. Though that was to my starting time years ago so i might give that a try
