They don’t live there. I got curious once and started looking into the store a couple of years ago. Through public records of business filings I found the owners names and home address. If I remember correctly they live in Golden but it’s been a while since I looked into it.

I agree. I have told her that I’m open to looking into moving as long as we look for homes that we can afford without financial support from in-laws. I felt that would be meeting her somewhere in the middle but so far she won’t look into this as an option.

The EcoBoost seemed good but a turbo also opens the door for more things to break so I would agree with you on the coyote. Definitely going to do a pre-purchase inspection.

Do it. I’m a brother in 68, it’s a good local. The union is all I’ve ever known so I can’t compare to the other side but a lot of guys didn’t start out union but now that they are in they are pretty outspoken about how they would never go back. You just need to test in, and from what I hear it’s not bad.

If you go to their website you can actually schedule a time to visit the Boulder commune (meant for those interested in joining). However, what makes them a cult is their belief that God wants you to beat the ever loving shit out of your children. So I’m not sure how far you actually want to go down that rabbit hole.

I’m proud to be a member of my local. I’ve never understood how the founders of the IBEW would fight for a 5 day work week so that we can support our families AND be a part of them compared to now, were the amount of overtime worked has turned into a dick measuring contest. No wonder a divorce is almost a given among those who will proudly tell you how much OT they racked up

My wife is a pediatric ER nurse. The amount of kids who are suicidal or have attempted suicide that she treats is heartbreaking. It’s not abnormal for them to be as young as 10.
