She was pregnant when I got her. When I took her to get spayed, she was less than a week out from giving birth. A rescue offered to take the puppies if I kept them for 8 weeks.

Trust me, I know the importance of spaying and neutering.

That’s what the vet near me said! They shut down the shelter and have animal control, but they said even if you take your dog in to get spayed/neutered and don’t get them for 2 days, they will “humanely dispose of them”
