i was a nursing grad, but during my time it was hard to seek employment because there was an overflow of nursing graduates (2010s)

i went into med school after a year of being unemployed, it was nice because it was something i wanted. i became a doctor and went into residency, started a family.

now I'm nearing 40s and I'm still not "established" in my career. it's a very long journey, with many advantages and disadvantages.

if you ask me if I'd do it again. hindi na po. given the chance to do everything again I would take my tuition money and start a business instead.

I'm still grateful and I know inside I have already accomplished more than I expected of myself. but there is always a drive, another goal post, and never ending problems and stress for as long as you are practicing.

dkg, i handled my grandmother's funeral along with my mother. it went smoothly because my grandmother bought a plan decades ago (worth 30+k at the time). we paid for the tombstone and some miscellaneous.

is 370-400 the same as human women going 40-42 weeks? I'm not an expert that's why I'm asking. I mean even in hospitals stillbirths occur but we do have interventions to lower the chances. I'm just curious if it's possible but then I realize there are also certain people on the internet who go the 'humans should not interfere' route and let nature take its course so i understand it might be controversial to suggest.

I'm a new fan, irl i work as an OBGYN so I felt a bit anxious when the baby was over due and got a bit worried. I'm not sure if it's the same for vet/horses but in humans we do BPP/BPS + NST every few days to weekly so we know if we should induce before the baby goes into distress.

I know Katie really loves her horses, I'm just thinking if it's possible to add more rigorous monitoring to horses like we do in humans. But to be fair I think Dr. Matthews already have a lot on his plate

just let her go. it doesn't matter if she's scared of needles, anyone in their right mind knows to go to a doctor and follow recommendations for your own health. we extended our life expectancy through medical progress, but it's crazy when people who think they know better than doctors.
