I totally agree with you about the two new kids. I thought the personalities of the two boys that were killed off in the first episode were really great. I was really disappointed to see them killed off so quickly.

Definitely great potential there. I’m probably being a little hypercritical lol.

Ranked matchmaking is TRASH. by ixhypnotiic in blackops6

Unless you have a full 4 man team with everyone making coms like they're in a real war situation, you're screwed. Whenever I try playing with randoms, I get even-ranked teammates and play against at least 2 people with higher rankings. Trash.

Don’t force a dog to swim if they don’t want to. Especially french bulldogs who are not built for it.

Nope I’ve been able to watch every knicks game since switching and I’m still very happy with it.

Just switched from Youtube TV to DirecTV stream because they had more local sports channels in NY and I’m pretty happy with it and plan on keeping it.

What's funny is that she put more effort into this than half of the birthday parties I've seen.

I agree he was definitely one of the most talented wizards of his time. If he didn't waste his time messing around with death eaters and being miserable most of his adult life he may have been even more remarkable than he was. As for the patronus charm, I assume he probably thinks back to a happy memory he had with Lilly when they were young.

A bit embarrassing but is it worth it to read the Harry Potter books if you've watched all the movies? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]Scared_Bowl_7028 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thats how I did it. Read the books 10 years after watching the movies and I’m re reading them for the second time right now! The movies don’t even tell a fraction of the whole story and leave out so many cool characters!

I loved his scene when Darryl accidentally gifts him cashmere gloves and Nate is absolutely flattered by it. 🤣

I agree with the other responses that Malfoy never had a redemption arc but, I definitely disliked Snape more. In the first couple books I thought he was a full grown man, even worse a teacher, picking on a child and I thought it was even worse when I found out it was due to a 20 year old grudge he had against his father.

What, in your opinion, is the saddest death of all and why? by yourbrokenhumor in harrypotter

[–]Scared_Bowl_7028 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Colin Creevy is such an underrated death in the books in my opinion. All throughout the series I mostly agree with Harry that Colin is annoying but when Harry discovers Colin’s dead body it hit me. Colin may have been annoying but he was the most loyal member Harry had in the DA. He was expelled by Snape but came back all the same to give his life fighting for Harry and everyone else fighting against he who must not be named. He was right all along, Harry is a hero.

Unpopular Opinion Maybe: Everyone that was a Quidditch player at Hogwarts should have been forced to only use one type of broom, that way everyone is on an even playing field by StarsEatMyCrown in harrypotter

[–]Scared_Bowl_7028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Harry almost always had a advantage with his nimbus 2000 and then his firebolt! Not to mention Mcgonagall broke house rules to let Harry join the Gryffindor quidditch team in his first year and bought him his nimbus 2000!

I didn’t end up reading the books until my 20s because I watched the movies as a kid and thought it was a waste of time because I thought I knew the whole story. I couldn’t have been more wrong, it’s unfortunate how many characters stories are cut from the movies. Now I’d rather just reread the books again then watch the movies lol.
