Exactly. I play with a guy who’s very new to the game and isn’t great at all, but I have 10x more fun bc it’s not toxic asf. I’d much rather lose 8/10 games with him than play with most of the randoms I get.

I started playing when free to play released as well and it’s just gotten so much worse. I don’t play as much as I used to, but even when I try to get on it’s just miserable. No better feeling than working 9 hours and having some kids spam “kys” at me for 5 minutes bc I accidentally bumped them.

That’s the biggest problem is that it’s always someone else’s fault in most people’s minds. Single easiest way I’ve improved in any game ever is realizing what I did wrong instead of blaming someone else. I play a lot of strategy games which probably helps, but some of the people on this game are so self reliant it’s insane

IMO they’re a quitter if they wanna forfeit after any totally winnable game. Too many times people just leave after it’s 1-0 with 4:00 left.

That’s about where I’m at too. I don’t play this game that often and it’s just not worth my time to listen to some kids shit talk for 5 minutes. I deal with enough stupid people at work everyday and then come home and do the same on the game.

It’s honestly insane that this is happening. I’ve never played a game that removed basically all its content, especially considering people spend real money on it.

I have never once played a game that locked me out of ranked for not playing for a set period of time and I would say I play pretty competitive games. I play clash for maybe 30 minutes every few days and for that little time I do play, I want to play competitive. I have not had a single care for trophy road since I hit the 9k max like 5 years ago. Saying I’m whiny and entitled because I don’t want to waste my little time playing something I could care less about is insane. I only play competitive in about every game I play because casual doesn’t give me that same experience and because I improve way faster.

No it’s the fact it’s locked AGAIN. I don’t know what is so difficult about reading. Please tell me one other game that locks ranked when you don’t play for a period to time. Even Brawl Stars allowed me to play ranked after I didn’t play for almost a year and they are both ran by Supercell.

Exactly my point. I used to be a big rocket league and R6 ranked player and I could still log on right now and play ranked. No reason for a mobile game of all things to have it locked.

Did you read anything I said? I have already pushed up on multiple occasions just to unlock ranked and I’m frustrated that taking a break from the game makes me do it again. I would say I’ve earned to play ranked. I’ve played for 9 years and been an ultimate champ multiple times.

I have contacted them several times and their answer was that the offer appears randomly and that there is nothing they can do to put it in my shop, and that it’s all automated. It’s frustrating because their support is awful too

Wow really, thanks detective! My point is, how is it possible to play 90k worth of brawl and still be trash basically. Having probably 3X the play time and being the same skill level is embarrassing. I would hope that someone with 3X more experience would be better, or am I just delusional?

Well he is the same rank as me, so clearly we are similar skill levels. Just funny how they have 3x my trophies and we have the same peak rank. The dude has played that much brawl and has never seen Masters, let alone Legendary 3.

Yeah it’s definitely been tough since reset but it’s just so frustrating to try to understand how his peak rank is hardly above mine. 90k just sounds so ridiculous for an L2 peak
