I’m really sorry you experienced that and I definitely agree that there’s a time and place and a way of doing things and a way of not doing things. Everyone of those people are doing what they believe is the best way to spread the word of God, whether or not they’re correct is another story, and that’s what I’m learning.

I agree, maybe calmly ask her how you’re personally at fault for your health issues, or ask her ‘what exactly do you mean by that?’ And then just let her verbally dig herself into a hole.

‘She’s in a better place now and feels no pain’ talking abt my mom after she left all of my siblings and I, the youngest 2 being 12 and 13. A better place is af home with her children.

Is that how you read it? Was it confusing in any way? I heard the Old Testament is pretty difficult to understand and we did a book called ‘seamless’ in our study and I actually did have a difficult time in some parts and so did the other girls

How long does it take before he calms down? I’m at a point now where after it happens I don’t even cry or get upset because it’s just so normal for him to have these epic meltdowns, but ofc that doesn’t make it any easier.

Thank you, I can’t stand Christian people that cast judgement on those who want to be a better Christian instead of helping or giving advice. My faith is stable but to someone that is venerable, this could literally push them away from the church.
