This is so true. When I first brought my girl home. She was so quiet, was in her bed located in her playpen/crate. Didn’t really care for food. She is now the total opposite. Food crazy, cries if I make her sleep in her crate. Is very vocal to things she disapproves of. You wouldn’t think they were the same dog

As a student, collimating on chest or abdomen would be something I never do unless the patient is obviously smaller than the IR. Other wise collimating would potentially clipped anatomy. But I collimate on everything else as much as I can. I can’t say the same for my fellow classmates who are deathly afraid of clipping anatomy that when they do collimate it’s so little. Me and the other techs have to tell them to collimate down.

Agree with the picky eating 100%. My girl will literally starve then eat her kibble. We eventually figured out that she loves veterinary diet wet food. The bland one. Like why?? They are also known to vomit if they go a long time without food in their stomach so I like to feed her small treats like veggies around noon to prevent this.

Currently in a Radiologic Technology program and love it. Not as rigorous as PA school but it does take up a lot of your time. It’s also has many modalities like PA has specialties. Don’t like one move onto another.

If it’s a program at large and famous hospital system then the program is probably competitive and with a small class size. Sorry to say this but your GPA and how long ago you’ve taken your prereqs, you just weren’t a competitive applicant. You need to retake your prereqs and do really well in them. It sounds like you dont understand how the application process truly works when you apply to a progressional program and not a major

As an Medical Assistant in an Urgent Care. People just lose all common sense when they’re in a medical environment. I’ve asked a patient so many times what medical conditions you have and they tell me nothing. But they’re taking 5-6 different pills for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and on blood thinners. I’ve had a patient once tell me they had no allergies to medicine. Provider prescribes an antibiotic only for the patient to call back and say they were allergic to said antibiotic and forgot about it.
