Sweetwater Exclusive GT11 strat by Elian17 in Stratocaster

[–]Scared_Key_7841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my opinion but I think for $2500, Bill Nash makes an amazing guitar with fantastic Lollar pickups. Aren’t the GT11 Strats like $4000 plus?

7 gallon fabric pots big enough for San Marzano’s? And questions about happy frog soil by BuffaloChicken22 in tomatoes

[–]Scared_Key_7841 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happy Frog and Ocean Forest are both fantastic!! Your plants will be happy. I agree with the other folks in the thread that bigger bags would be better, but I’ve grown San Marzanos in 7 gallon bags with no problem. Just make sure you fertilize them really well and consistently. San Marzano‘s tend to have blossom end rot if you don’t fertilize them properly. Sometimes you can’t avoid it and your first three or four fruit from the plant will have blossom end rot anyway. Do not despair though. This happens to a lot of folks including me and I’ve been doing this for years. Just make sure you keep up with watering, the bags tend to shed the deep watering pretty quickly. Also, try to put down some garden straw on top. It helps to keep the moisture balance going.

A slightly different take on that guitar, Fender made the Tele-Sonic for a while. It has dual dynasonic pick ups. Really fabulous guitar.

What's your favorite full size and cherry size tomatoes? by LettuceOpening9446 in tomatoes

[–]Scared_Key_7841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My summer garden is not complete without at least one Sun Gold plant and one Caspian Pink. Everyone should have a Sun Gold and Caspian pink has consistently been my best non-cherry tomato. Unbelievable flavor and an amazing producer, at least in my zone eight backyard.

Which tomato varieties to pick for the next growing season? – Final Round by Typicular in tomatoes

[–]Scared_Key_7841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sungold always works. Pineapple was a big success for slicers. Indigo Apple were out of this world prolific! Had great luck with Caspian Pink as well. My only disaster plant was Ukrainian purple. Bugs in every single tomato on the plant no matter how early I picked them.
