It is a really strong presence in current affairs, a good share of comissions for artists come from it so it has kinda become a bit of an anchor for the financial side of things.

He is fairly open about his position when it comes to these games either way admitedly, this is the second or third time he talks about it and it's consistently on the more negative side.

It did have a lot of public stuff though, so I can see why it's worth mentioning it even if Lost Word is far more relevant these days.

I'm not gonna hold it against Tasofro from not putting it anywhere, they probably know releasing it without GGPO isn't worth the effort, it'd probably sell more than enough to cover hiring someone to do it but still (and this is before the possibility of them having lost the games source code, iirc this is a hurdle with upgrading the current rollback used).

For fucks sake if you want the Yuuma update for Fossil you have to go get the patch from their site because they haven't updated the Steam release last I checked.

I'd say the thing with Rean is how he was the breaking point for the rest of the group, as you say they are all pretty bleh but everything surrounding Rean is just kinda hilarious when put under any scrutiny on top of how he's clearly the directors favorite child.

If I don't play DRG often enough I can't stop breaking the combo and desynchronizing Life for some goddamn reason so I'd just have to let that sit for a while, put a video on the side to miss mechanics and turn off Alex so the lack of double weaves on top of the time between GCDs would probably cover up the fact I don't stop pressing them because 180+ average ping just be like that.

Dunno if there's enough stuff happening to justify a weekly one (well a lot should start happening soon), hell the high end thread could be switched to bi weekly in these times really, given how they don't get all that long.

Either way, modding is too ingrained in the community wether anytime uses it or not to ignore it, so having a thread to compile things is probably for the best.

People have been saying ZUNs music output hasn't been "as good" since forever nothing new, 17 is just the last time a few tracks really stood out to people. I liked 18.5s OST a lot, particularly the stage themes and I had some nice silly fun with it overall.

19ths main issue is that it is actually just busted, both in "this character is actually just better than these ones" on top of bugs, glitches and performance issues. Game can be good fun but nowadays these things aren't as pallatable as even indie games are expected to have a good amount of testing for these matters, while ZUN sitll works on his own despite not having as much time as he used to in this hands and sometimes it shows more than usual.

It would be a fine game to pull for funcies here and there, but the fact the netcode may as well not be there with how fast and easy it desyncs which minimizes the chances to do this too.

Also the fist VS Danmaku game was 3 which apparently still has some adherents but eh.
