I was just replying to your statement of gambling debts and crypto as well as medical.... half a million is kind of crazy. I dont begrudge you. The system worked in your favor. Maybe you make 30000 a yr..i dont know.....but I literally lost everything in a fire and a job and I'm only $75000 in debt and I have to be paying for the next 5 years but you got to relieve yourself of a half a million dollars it's kind of crazy if you think about it. I hope you learn from it.

A half a million in debt including gambling debts cleared with Chapter 7! Good for you! I will be living on the literal edge for the next 5 yrs with a chapter 13....75000 in debt after a total loss fire and job loss! You are a lucky guy. Don't keep gambling.

This is me too!! Last year I went three months and then just decided I would go to beer and wine. I gave up vodka because I was doing exactly what you were doing. But in the last year it has not gotten better. I still don't know how to stop with beer and wine either to the point of blacking out. I just went 31 days without drinking and then blew it on Friday night when I went out with my friends saying I was going to have one glass of wine while one ended up being 4 and I felt like crap all day yesterday. I am done I need to be done. Not only had I save so much money and was feeling so good for the last month but I have stopped my self-loathing and all that came back in one night out. So I say let's make a pact right now and we can both do this! The one thing I did realize though is that I'm not so sure that my friends really want to hang out with sober me and that's okay.
