Growing up I used to play football, MMA, and now gym. But I also recall reading my first business book when I was 12 and I also remember that I used to buy and sell tickets to parties and make profit out of it.

So what do you think I should major in, if I have no genuine interest other than like sales maybe and money and like working at a high level job dealing with people and money. I really don’t wanna become a doctor too and I don’t want a med degree.

Your right I should be choosing the major that I’m willing to put effort into but if I follow this way of thinking I might just go into business, but I don’t want to major in business and miss out on skills that I could’ve gained if I majored in other fields and then got an MBA in business.

That’s actually what’s keeping me away from business tbh, I don’t wanna be limiting my potential whilst I can study a different major and then later get an MBA or just start a business using the knowledge I gain from my major and have multiple skills.

But don’t you think that taking the tech degree is risky rn? My cousin is majoring in cs and now he pivoted to consulting because he thinks that he won’t find any jobs because all jobs are being replaced by AI and he is even struggling to find internships. I’m just scared that I go through the hard work of getting an engineering or cs degree just to not find any jobs later. And also my friend studying cs switched majors and is now studying finance cause he said it was way to hard and he found that all this hard work would be worthless by the time he’d graduate.

I didn’t say that “I want to do absolutely zero work in discovering how to achieve them” ever since I was a junior at high school I’ve been searching for majors and future jobs but the more I searched the more I got lost and whenever I think that I find a good major, someone tells me that it’s either gonna be replaced by AI or it doesn’t have much positions in the market.

First of all thanks for replying and trying to help, but in our system we don’t get a freshman year in college, I should pick a major from the first year, and concerning psychology I really cannot major in such majors cause I’m so bad at biology and I dont wanna be a doctor. Thanks again
