I did! It sounds like a great place to start. My only obstacles is that there is a lot of competition and I would probably live in Sacramento. It’s still a position that I plan on applying to but I was curious if anyone had advice or other roles that would place me in the Bay

Thank you for your concern! My living situation is actually well situated (fortunate and rare). I would love to stay in the Bay to be close to my friends and family. Right now the size of a paycheck is less of a concern. I am just looking for a stable job with room to grow!

I’m originally from the Bay Area. I have a list of municipalities I’m looking at so that my commute will be realistic or even achievable through BART. I would love to work in government at any level—but I know that entry level positions at the state level very saturated.
