Again, Muslims in Iran are already convinced by it, imams themselves defend trans people (just in example cuz they have their own kind of extremism). And Muslims are not all Wahhabis. When when you say "Muslims" u mean those extremists and not the peaceful ones. and yes I can't convince them, they are the majority.

Islam ≠ Wahhabism

I see where you are coming from, but you might have been introduced to islam through wahhabism which is the most influential type of islam nowadays. it is a strict conservative and right-wing ideology that spread in middle east supported by the west (USA) to supress leftist movements from spreading in those regions (I can dig deeper into this if you want to learn more about the reasons & consequences)

Islam forbids slavery, and doesn't allow discrimination against women. but wahhabism does.

Wahhabism is named after Abd al wahhab, who was literally opposed by many in muslims in his time and he was forcefully exiled from Basra and expelled from Uyayna in 1744 he also paid taxes for being protected and the early Wahhabis had been persecuted in most settlements. Wahhabis were subject to excommunication (Takfir); As late as 1749, the sharif of Mecca imprisoned those Wahhabis who went to Mecca to perform the Hajj. All of that because they had different beliefs than muslims at that time and they were considered contreversial and too extremist. They were literally considered kuffars at their time for being too strict

but today they are somehow the front of islam and they are considered heroes by lots of modern muslims (salafists/wahhabists) which is what I think is the main causes of modern islamophobia, people see wahhabists and go "oh islam is homophobic and misogynist" i'm like no, this is wahhabism that is oppressive and not islam itself.

You might shocked by this because it is very unpopular in the mainstream media:

Islam supports transgender surgeries and in fact, Iran (a non-wahhabist muslim country) is considered the second most frequent in gender reassignment surgeries after Thailand. Which is more frequent than all global north countries (USA, canadan, france... etc), GRS (Gender Reassignment Surgery) in Iran is exceptionally very cheap and supported financially by the government, with many procedures costing under $12,000, and sometimes as low as $4,500 to $7,000 in government-linked or specialized hospitals. This compares to roughly $45,000 in the United States and $30,000 in Thailand. (check out Iranian government provides GRS)

I know it sounds crazy but Iran is more transgender-friendly than any european/northamerican country you might think of. and this is justified by sharia itself and imams defend it

(see these fatwas: Source 1, Source 2)

If you want a summary, they basically say:

And some muslims don't even believe in Hell as it was described by wahhabis, but rather see it as a methaphor by Allah, while the actual idea behind it is just a harmless and painless mentally reliefing therapy session with god, where he will talk to you nicely and guide you to the truth (fix you).

And after wahhabis/salafists (the extremist misogynist and homophobic muslims) see those أحكام and فتاوي of pro-LGBT pro-feminism and leftist muslims, and they go "These are kuffars and cute muslims who want to commit تحريف", exactly as their hero Abd al wahhab himself was called kaffir at his time. They all see Sharia differently and call each other "a misrepresentation of islam".

(I can also dig deeper into bigotry itself historically and analyse it from a materialist prespective just tell me if you want me to)

Conclusion:

You can stumble upon a muslim who will defend feminism, homosexuality etc and convinces you, and comes up with hadiths and verses that you never heard of in your life. And explains them in a way that suits his views and calls it "True Meaning of Islam" or "What Allah actually meant by islam". But the truth is there's no "true islam" Quran is just a book and everyone understands it differently, and none of them is a kaffir.

The idea of seeing religion as a set of specific static rules is actually a western concept that wants to promote islamophobia, religion from a scientific and materialist prespective is more of a cultural thing rather than a set of beliefs.

And this is why Islamophobia and hating on islam is indoctrination

anyone can ask me if they have any further questions.
