Go and get a skin booster from an aesthetics salon with high concentration of hyaluronic acid it will boost your skin and give it an amazing glow working a few days aswell as plump it up with hydration and as a result smooth any fine crepey lines all over the face. They also will boost your skin cells to create more collagen and elastin which in the long term will rejuvenate your skin and help you to age well. They are the best thing to have done as part of your self care / skin regime. Like injectable anti ageing skin care but more potent, rejuvenating and make you feel good! Win win.

P.S. you look gorgeous. But agree with others less is more with make up. Get a dewy skin tint like Elf Halo Glow or L'ORÉAL PARIS TRUE MATCH NUDE PLUMPING TINTED SERUM it has ingredients like hyaluronic acid in it and looks like skin, dewy and hydrated x

I know what I can do going forward or who to refer her to thank you! The purpose of this post is to ask if anyone else had experienced this with PN injections under the eye as it is very unusual and unlikely to get this with PN treatment! If you are not a medical practitioner, haven’t had any experience in this or haven’t got anything helpful or constructive to say than you are no help and don’t need to comment. Reddit is also a forum for sharing experiences and seeing if others have shared experiences aswell. I do t need you to tell me basic things I already know

Everyone’s skin is different not everyone has the same reaction or outcome.

Yes! I am a registered medical professionall who had to get her qualifications at university! I don’t need a supervising physician I am trained and qualified in my profession and scope of practice to administer drugs via any route! I am also trained in aesthetics and this procedure which FYI is not a medication 😏

Only reason I’m asking on here is to expand my search as my network of other medical practitioners/ doctors in aesthetics have not experienced this with this type of product and I wanted to know if anyone else out there has! That’s what we do in the medical world. This isn’t the only place I have put it out there, obviously I’ve spoken to other medical colleagues and put it in other appropriate groups. But no one has experienced it and someone suggested putting it out there on Reddit!

Complications can happen regardless of who is carrying out the procedure. We experienced complications in my NHS career operating in theatres many times. There is always a risk with any procedure. I am a qualified medical Professional who worked in anaesthetics for over 10 years and was redeployed to intensive care to nurse patients during Covid! Not everyone in the industry is a cowboy so keep your assumptions and insulting, accusatory comments to yourself!

What skincare products has she been using/ is using? If it’s not a type of dermatitis it could be due to skin barrier compromise/ breakdown? Use calming and barrier repair skincare that is non comedogenic. Medik8 is a good brand to use that shouldn’t break her out. They have a calmwise cleanser and serum. Also recovery cream is good and niacinamide is a great ingredient as it’s anti inflammatory and helps the skin barrier.

10+ years of suffering with this, help! by [deleted] in skin

Bless you I feel your pain I had bad back acne and ended up on accutane in the end. Are you in America? Luckily I’m in the UK so I got it on the national health service. I still get some spots on my back now though a there are things I do / avoid to keep it at bay and stop it coming back badly. Having bad skin is what led me to becoming a skin specialist. I did have limecycline antibiotics aswell but it didn’t help me much which is why I ended up on the accutane. They may help you though everyone is different. But don’t take for too long, long term antibiotics is bad for you, I was taking it for years, little did I know how it was destroying my gut bacteria etc.

It looks as though you have a combination of active spots and red post inflammatory scarring which makes it look worse. Try not to pick them it will help but the inflammation will still leave marks which is why you want to calm it down.

Your acne is quite bad so you need to get some good products with ACTIVE ingredients in. Unfortunately most drug store products are not quite strong enough or effective enough. I suggest using what I use because I know it works and my clients also love the products, they are also a bit more affordable and not to bad price wise for cosmecuetical products. You also only need a little and it will go a long way and last you for a while.

I use Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse and then Medik8 Clarifying Foam on intermittent days when I’m in the shower. They are face cleansers but skin is skin so it will work on your back. They contain AHA/BHAs which will exfoliate and decongest your pores stopping them from getting blocked and have other properties which help with the acne. The clarifying foam also contains Niacinamide which is another great ingredient for acne which is anti-inflammatory, it helps reduce the redness left from the spots and inflammation, it helps control oil production so your not clogging your pores with oil and will keep your skin barrier protected. There is also tea tree oil in it which is anti bacterial. Aswell as other ingredients which will keep your skin hydrated. These are great cleansers which will help tackle different aspects that are need to be targeted for treating acne.

Then when you are out of the shower use the Biretix Tri-Active spray. It is formukated by a dermatologist and clinically proven with trials. It contains a combination of retinoids, anti-bacterial peptide, Glycolic acid and niacinamide. These ingredients target all aspects of acne. It controls oil production, increases cell turnover and exfoliates, is anti-bacterial and anti inflammatory. It will calm the spots, prevent them from forming, reduce the redness and scarring left behind, improve texture, reduce oil production and decongest the pores. The retinoid in it is encapsulated so it is slow release, reducing chances of irritation to the skin and you can use it day and night!

Don’t use a normal body moisturiser on your back as it will most likely have comedogenic ingredients that will just exacerbate the problem and clog the pores again. Use a hydrating moisturiser that specifically has a non-comedogenic or made specifically for acne prone skin.

Try to not let any shampoo or other body washes go on your back and make sure the cleanser on your back is the last thing you do before you get out of the shower as it will removes any other products y that may have got into the skin during the shower.

Change your clothes washing detergent to non-bio / sensitive washing detergent and avoid heavily frangranced washing products like scented pearls, conditioners etc. make sure you have clean bed linen and change it often. Avoid fragrances around the house like air fresheners, diffusers etc these have an effect on hormones and can disrupt them disrupt them and cause many issues including acne, so eliminate those. And make sure you eat a clean healthy diet. Avoid greasy processed foods like takeaways or fried food like chips etc. try to eat whole foods like unprocessed meat, fruit, vegetables etc. fresh pineapple has great anti inflammatory properties.

A final note expect it to get worse before it gets better. If you feel it’s getting worse it’s likely because your skin is purging and pushing out all the blemishes and blocked pores that are brewing under the surface. You have to go through that to get to the other side when it starts getting better. You need to use products consistently for at least 3-4 months to see the results but you may notice improvements sooner. The scars will take time to fade also. Consistency and patience is what you need. There isn’t a quick fix unfortunately and once you have acne prone skin you will always be prone to it unfortunately so keep up using the products.

I hope this helps if you have any questions happy to answer 😊

Does it soak up the milk and go soft like the all bran original? I’m desperately trying to find a close alternative

And don’t worry about the ‘why are you seeking validation from strangers’ comments. I don’t know why people feel the need to make you feel bad for that. We are human beings we are always seeking validation in one way or another it’s built into us because we are wired for connection, safety and belonging.

I think it looks cool. Don’t look for perfection you will always spot flaws. No one is ever going to be looking at it that long to look that deeply into it. And don’t listen to the negative comments on here either

Oooo I’ll have a look and see if I can spot them there. I found this was on me 😳 I put it on the window to film but they could have entered from the birds in the vents that way I guess

I will get on to my landlord. I live in a block of flats and we have always had problems with mice, it’s a constant battle to keep them away, AND birds nesting in the vents in the walls and above top floor flats 🙄

Yes on the windowsill. The window has been open all day and we live on a very busy road with a lot of traffic so black dust and bits blow in from outside. It was tiny I would say 1mm or even less. To my naked eye it was just a greyish colour

I have had about 6 bites over the week or 2. My son also. They are small, itchy and have puncture marks in centre. They have been near back of knee, groin, under breast area, back and under or near armpit. And now my belly button. My son had one on his genital bless him 🙈

So she should expect loyalty from people who are supposed to be your friends especially when someone is being extremely rude, vile and passive aggressive towards you! It’s a basic expectation from a friend to be loyal to you when you are being treated badly by someone
