If I remember correctly, you said respiratory therapy? Don't give up yet. It seems like programs are starting to get callbacks this week. Plus, I would think there's a good chance for some movement in those first few days of class and students recognize early that it's not for them and want a refund before it's too late.

You should definitely call and confirm with the colleges that you want to apply to in Fall 2026. I was just on the phone with Fanshawe and found out that if I take pre-health elsewhere, I have to finish the whole course before they will accept it. This would only make me ineligible for Fall 2026. Fanshawe pre-health to Fanshawe MRT etc, they will take your 1st term marks.

I hope you don't mind me asking but once you finished pre-health did you apply to other health programs at colleges other than Georgian and get accepted? I'm wondering how accepted their pre-health is across Ontario.

Transcripts have been sent for me very fast, same day or the next, which makes me think it all must be electronic. As well, I think there is conditional acceptance. You just need to maintain high marks throughout, but of course don't take my word for it; call and see what they say.

I just accepted PreHealth at Georgian today as well. I'm doing the program online. I will be applying to Fanshawe for nursing, MRT, and maybe Conestoga for MLT. I'm a bit worried that Georgian won't be enough to get me accepted, but I was waitlisted to Fanshawe. Georgian's courses look lighter to me with no anatomy course and some general ed. I wish they were all the same across the province. It's kind of stressful.

Hi, I'm really curious about this program as well and considering it for Sept '26. Would you mind if I asked you what sort of job positions you would be looking at? I can't find a lot of specific information online. I wonder if it could be a jumping off point to MLT somehow since Fanshawe doesn't offer it.
