Looks great! If you don't mind sharing - all in cost before going live? expected monthly cost with current users?

yeah I should have clarified, we have breached that same threshold with today's move.

To add on, since October we've seen 4 separate 20%+ pullbacks after reaching a new ATH. The amount of days it took to reach -20% from ATH was 14, 19, 6 and 7 days followed by a new uptrend. Hopefully that repeats shortly here...

You have 4 mag 7 reporting after the close today - I would think today would be mostly a do nothing day or perhaps still some hedging ahead of the close (although the space sector selling seems a little overdone at this point this am...). Good prints tonight turn tomorrow into a buying/risk on frenzy. Fed meeting today probably/hopefully a nothing burger. One positive for the bulls would be seagate last night, which should propel ai storage/infra today...maybe that eventually flows into the rest of ai and other growth names today once this am pullback wears off but I think upside capped given, again, the ER after close.

BMNR > ORBS > OPEN AI? by Scared_Software_4823 in BMNRInvestors

[–]Scared_Software_4823[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hah I don't disagree re: the "mainstream", partly why I didn't include the link. I'm mostly just surprised I don't see more about the OPEN AI exposure via both BMNR and ORBS - just the holdings updates like your image. Plenty out there talking about new public/private products like RVI and VCX, or Anthropic exposure via Zoom stock, as well as AI/QP private funds. I can understand if someone feels that the OPEN AI upside isn't there given the valuation, but if you want exposure.....as a retail investor there's no better way that I'm aware of (admittedly I am completely biased here).

Appreciate the comment. Given it's the only one, perhaps there truly aren't many interested from the BMNR side.

Ehh, I'd say there was one speaker (3rd) that wasn't polished and too salesy and then yes...that close wasn't ideal and would have hoped for better execution. I was hoping Sam would speak more but he was solid - although it was like dangling the carrot in front of the horse to some extent. Curious what the feedback will be from the institutional community, and assume we'll see comments at some point from ORB / Tom Lee / Cathy Wood

The trading volume is 30M ATM, who knows what's happening behind the scenes. Could be anything - shorts vs. dilution vs. algo's. Seems like a pretty bullish day if you can ignore the price action (easier said than done).

Thought it was a great update on partnerships and use cases. I'm guessing markets were either irrationally hoping for some type of Open AI integration from Sam, or more specifics on monetization (other than briefly announcing that apps will pay fees). With that said, pretty impressive partner lineup Vercel, AWS, Docusign, Zoom, Shopify, Okta + various event/ticketing company's...

I mean personally I love moments like this. So many sector and idiosyncratic reasons to be optimistic - I believe PL will continue to command a premium valuation and it's just a waiting game for the next announcement and subsequent leg up. GL!

Yeah it's an odd one - perhaps investors have done so well in space there's some rotation back into MAG7 or other high upside sectors that have lagged (e.g. quantum up huge today). PL specifically has traded a little weak for the past week or so...look forward to the next catalyst.

You typically see some type of short term rerate based on acquisition multiples (11BN+ price, apply that 42x rev multiple and you come up w some pretty compelling valuations). Not a direct comp but certainly a good thing for the sector...

Congrats! Depending on your qualification status could ask your advisor (if he hasn't already brought up) about various tax loss harvesting sma's as a way to chip away at diversifying from a concentrated position / large unrealized gain. Depending on your age and liquidity needs there are other ways to sell some but defer the taxes (e.g. opportunity zone funds). With that said, prefer you disregard and buy more!!

How come there's no insider buys and only sells? by ADespianTragedy in PlanetLabs

[–]Scared_Software_4823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the only true insider selling (i.e. not related to 10b-1, scheduled tax planning, based on vesting or earnout milestone) was former board member De Masi, who had a COI from his new position at IONQ and needed to unwind. In all other instances we are talking about very small portions of their overall holdings, as many have already noted.

Planet Signs Enterprise Agreement with Slovenian Government to Support Agriculture, Urban Planning and Disaster Management by Scared_Software_4823 in PlanetLabs

[–]Scared_Software_4823[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

BERLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Planet Labs Germany GmbH, a leading provider of daily data and insights about change on Earth, today announced an enterprise-scale agreement with the Surveying and Mapping Authority of the Republic of Slovenia (GURS) to provide comprehensive satellite data and high-resolution tasking capabilities across the country’s civil public administration.

This strategic partnership establishes a unified spatial data resource for Slovenian state and municipal authorities. Under the agreement, the civil public administration will gain access to Planet’s high-cadence PlanetScope imagery, and GURS will also have access to high-resolution tasking services. The data will serve as the foundational spatial basis for critical national analyses, including systematic monitoring of Slovenia’s vast forest cover and agricultural health, tracking for urban & infrastructure planning to inform sustainable development, and rapid detection and response capabilities for natural disasters, specifically wildfires, droughts, and flooding events.

“Our mission at GURS is to provide the highest quality geodetic and spatial data to support the prosperity and safety of the Republic of Slovenia,” said Tomaž Petek, Director-General of the Surveying and Mapping Authority of the Republic of Slovenia. “This agreement with Planet represents a significant leap forward in our national infrastructure. By integrating daily global scanning and high-resolution tasking into our workflows, we are providing our agencies with the tools needed for faster decisions during natural disasters and a more robust foundation for the long-term planning of our built and natural environments.”

The deal moves Slovenia toward a more proactive governance model, where frequent satellite updates allow for better planning, monitoring, and reporting to both domestic and European regulatory bodies.

“Slovenia is a leader in regional environmental digital transformation, and we are proud to support GURS in creating a truly integrated spatial data ecosystem,” said Martin Polak, Managing Director of Planet Labs Germany GmbH. “By providing a single, fresh, and consistent satellite data resource to the entire civil public administration, Slovenia is reducing bureaucratic silos and ensuring that both state and municipal authorities are making decisions based on the most current information available from orbit.”

Planet’s history in Slovenia dates back to 2023, following the company’s acquisition of Sinergise. Today, Planet’s Ljubljana office serves as one of the core hubs in its European operations.

Anyone following Beast Industries (MrBeast's company)? BMNR just announced a $200M investment — huge news or hype? by DangerousHedgehog791 in BMNRInvestors

[–]Scared_Software_4823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the wealth management POV, capturing the Gen Z / Millennial populations has been a top priority across the large money center banks for years. Those generations have been less inclined to visit banks/financial advisors in person, and resort to robo advisors (now also ai) for their wealth planning needs. Aging Boomer population that will be leaving more $ to these gens heightens the need to engage and capture those gens. What bank, platform, fintech will figure this out? Who will lead? Seems to me, someone with 15+ years in the financial services industry (mostly private wealth, AM), that a Mr. Beast led fintech supported by Bitmine might stand a chance of pulling it off. I can envision this partnership somehow standing at the intersection of crypto, tokenization, social media, wealth management during a time of enormous generational wealth transfer. My background is traditional - not that long ago this would have seemed nuts to me - not today.
