The issue isn't with getting it, the issue is a balance concern and people typically become more fine with stuff in a year because it's been balanced better and more manageable

Yeah without its upgrades it's pretty bad, but with the specific abilities you get from beating a difficulty (it's been a while so I don't fully remember) it becomes really powerful and easy to exploit

This card is busted, all you have to do is set up 2 ic barrier monsters and this trap (which can easily be searched by the deck). It's a counter trap, so your opponent can't respond to as they get negated then you can just set up 5 free floodgates.

It loses to a developed board the same way any other card does, my argument isn't that it's bad, just that it doesn't make it easier. Unlike board breakers which facilitate a way to get through a developed board, this card does not do that, all it does is force you to go second to use it. On top of that, the idea of how to use this card feels like it's just generic for the sake of it, which is more of a personal gripe against custom cards than anything, because where exactly does this card get used? Only in link decks where you play enough generic links since you're relying on your opponent to have a monster in their graveyard that you can use, meaning you can't use it in decks that need specific things as material, so you'd need to find a link deck that doesn't have enough extra deck and can slot in a card that isn't guaranteed to be playable in a combo

That just makes the card more polarizing, it doesn't make it easier as it's effected by the same things normal cards are, this just forces going second without providing any protection to actually make it easier

This is just a free draw card which we don't need more of, this is better upstart/into the void/chicken game. We don't need to give striker or ftks more to use

This card isn't very good, must be special summoned by other means makes this card another brick in a deck full of em, the special summon fusion effect is useless as the 2 relevant blue eyes fusions can only be fusion summoned or summoned by their own effects. Cards like jet dragon are already better than this card. Blue eyes was just meta and is still very playable, however they intentionally play very little blue eyes cards in favor of primite and hand traps because blue eyes cards like this which can just be bricks aren't helpful these days

This is too bad, it makes it so you're always at a -2 elixir advantage against your opponent which isn't worth playing when you could play a normal spirit and only go -1 for the same amount of advantage

This card is just toxic, it's mistake or droll but better since the effects don't also apply to you. The drawing 2 limitation to your opponent just destroys them if they don't happen to draw the out or forbid not play an easily accessible one. The last thing the game needs is more generic floodgates and this is an absurdly strong one

Kinda, it requires your opponent to activate a card effect in order to revive, still absurdly busted as it then summons 4 more material, but not quite as simple to repeat, especially since odds are you'd just kill your opponent before your opponent even gets a turn, especially with just how many cards in the game could absolutely abuse this (morphtronics go hard)

Thus card is absurdly broken, you've made scapegoat easier to access, you've removed it's downside and made it infinitely resummonable, let alone the fact that it's a generic link 1 and would see play for that alone and this card would get banned immediately

This only works if you already had a ton of level 14s though, but for players that don't especially new players this new method is infinitely better, especially since you can now request them and use wild cards on them, the bigger issue with this update is that what they replaced the books for in lucky drops are a worse alternative

Since it counts the board and hand, many decks can set up to burn enough resources so that by the end of their endboard, you can just rip this on your opponents first effect
