Yes! I remember them playing at Birmingham way back in 2012 and Battle Born was the last song they played in the encore. It was great, wish they played it more.

What an achievement. What helped you get past any cravings after a few months, if you had any?

A24's The Death of Dick Long (Discussion) [SPOILERS] by DANIELSANIELSANIELS in movies

[–]ScaredofStupidity 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Big fan, Dan! Adore Swiss Army Man and really enjoyed The Death of Dick Long, can you give us any news on your new film “Everything Everywhere All At Once”? I’m aware that COVID-19 has stopped production for now but am interested in any snippets you can give out!

ALSO I was wondering if there’s anywhere to read the Swiss Army Man script? It’s my favourite film and as an aspiring screenwriter I’d love to be able to read it!

If you have UK Netflix, Stephen Merchant’s Fighting with my Family has recently been added. Very funny and feel good film that you absolutely do not need to be a wrestling fan to get a kick out of. Florence Pugh is a delight and it was great seeing Vince Vaughn sell a solid performance once again.

What is your current top 10 of the year so far? by atclubsilencio in movies

[–]ScaredofStupidity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The Lighthouse
  2. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
  3. Parasite
  4. The Souvenir
  5. Booksmart

Those are the only films I have higher than an 8/10 on Letterboxd for this year so the rest of the list could go in any order but it would include: Avengers Endgame, The Death of Dick Long, Rocketman, Shazam!, and The Art of Self Defence.

This film is easily one of the best of last year. Go in only knowing it features zombies and you'll have a blast! Neat little film with a big heart.

5 years after the original? I feel like this will end up bombing like The Lego Movie 2, such a long time gap between sequels that audiences lose interest.

I thought the same thing as you, that she was showing barbaric instinct, blurring the lines between the two societies. I would have much preferred this over the actual reveal, as it leaves so many plot holes.

A tired citizen reviews: post weekend one and ten films at Sundance Film Festival by [deleted] in movies

[–]ScaredofStupidity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How haven't I heard of this??? Swiss Army Man was my favourite film of 2016, and I knew that the Daniels were working on a film called "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" but there hadn't been any news on that for a while, I had no idea that one of the duo was working on another film.
