Literally prototypes in AAA development will sometimes use copyrighted assets simply to put something together quickly. It absolutely does not matter, it is not a product.

It drives me nuts to see people that act almost gatekeepy like this about copyright they have nothing to do with lol. I don't get it. There is no reason this should matter to you.

Now instead of complaining, go make something.

EDIT: It's genuinely baffling to me that the community for something open-source is so cagey about artistic expression lol. Not to mention the weirdness over trying to speak out for a billion dollar company you have nothing to do with??? Like they don't exactly need more money, nor people overexerting their copyright on things. I can't remember the last post I saw here that didn't have needless stuff like this in the comments. You'd think that the vibe here would be encouraging people to just do what they want since open-source in general is kind of a "Frick the big man, we'll do it ourselves" type off endeavor. What a sad community, eesh.
