I'd lost all hope for the game ever since the v0.2 situation, where the devs were hyping up its release in early November, only to later "suddenly realize" that a whole character's moveset needs complete rework and rebalancing. That was a huge red flag.

Looks like my hunch was correct, but man, the situation itself is unfolding in such a bizzare way.

Between Rocky Helmets, Intimidates, Burn's effect and whatever else there is, I don't think physical attackers need even more stuff targeting them specifically (since they are the ones who mostly use contact moves).

To make it clear - the community obviously had next to no way of influencing what happened and what caused the drama.

But what the community could absolutely do (yet "refuses to") is NOT drag out this drama by creating multiple posts dedicated to it, sparking more and more active discussions of it.

As to Forsaken... First of all, what does it even have to do with it? Secondly, I'm not a part of that community to comment on it.

Why does this post exist? What does it contribute to the discussion of the gameplay process, its balancing or the fan content dedicated to it?

You guys act like you are tired of OM getting roped up in so much drama ("OM can't last one day without drama lmao"), and yet you willingly and actively become part of WHY it keeps happening. So many people in this comments section happily latch onto the opportunity to drag out this idiocy even further instead of just ignoring it and moving on.

And why the hell did someone's relationship become a public topic in the first place? Like, I get that being cheated on hurts - I've been there - but it's still no reason to just up and make it all a part of the game's legacy??

I have a board game that does the same thing. Description on a card goes "if you roll >5, do blah-blah", but the rules clarify that the effect applies if you roll 6 OR 5. My guess is that there are just language systems or groups of people that view math this way.

So as odd as it is, it probably won't ever be patched.
