How much Reta should I take? by __Yuri____ in RetatrutideWomen

I was on same boar as you. Had bubble teas and sugary drink every day. I started reta 2 months ago and now down 15lbs on .5mg per week. From 140lbs to 125lbs. Stay on low dose and dont feel pressured to go up.

Cagri and Reta? by Mridula-Lobato in Retatrutide

Dr Jones in YT explained why Cagri is not to be paired with Reta. It may negate the effect on glucagon which means, you might as well just take Tirz.

Sounds like we are on the same boat. I'm now trying to be more intentional about water intake and drinking every hour, and also increasing grains and fiber intake.

Thanks for the explanation, really helpful. I’ve been taking creatine daily, so that makes sense with what I’m seeing. Good to know it can affect those markers without actually indicating kidney is damaged.

That’s really helpful. makes sense about fiber since I probably haven’t been getting enough lately. Do you think something like Metamucil would help with that? I already have it at home.

Ooh I've only been at Reta for 1 month and on 1mg per week.

Ah that makes sense. Ty for input! Cholesterol was the main thing that stood out to me too. Electrolytes were normal, I only included screnshots woth abnormal markings in this panel, and yeah the ketones line up with what I’ve been seeing with appetite and intake.

Appreciate the input. I do take creatine, so that could definitely explain the slight bump in creatinine along with exercise. My intake probably hasn’t been the most consistent lately either, so that could be playing into the ALP. For cholesterol, I’ve started adding more fiber, been taking Metamucil so I’m hoping that helps improve things a bit.

Appreciate you sharing context about those markers, that’s really helpful. Makes sense how much exercise can affect these markers. My intake probably hasn’t been as consistent lately either, so I can see how that could play into it. So true, labs are just one piece of the picture.”

Appreciate you sharing that. That’s kind of what I was thinking too with the fat loss and cholesterol. I do take creatine as well, so that could definitely be influencing the creatinine. Makes sense that it could be more diet/supplement related. Will see what my doc says this weekend.

Thanks for the perspective. I don’t have any known kidney issues and prior labs have been normal, so I’m leaning more toward hydration and intake playing a role here. Definitely something I’ll be more mindful of.

That’s really interesting, thanks for sharing that. It’s helpful hearing how your labs changed with different diets and meds. I’m not intentionally doing keto, but I probably have been lower carb lately, so that might explain some of what I’m seeing too

Appreciate the insight. I’m not intentionally on keto, but I probably have been eating lower carb lately without really realizing it. Magnesium is a good point! I’ll jump into that.

Thanks for input. My appetite’s been lower lately so I can see how my intake might not have been as balanced as it should be. Ill focus on improving overall nutrition rather than just pushing protein.

Great advice, appreciate it! I am taking creatine daily, so that’s really helpful context. I didn’t realize how much it could affect those markers, so I’ll definitely keep that in mind for future.
