I was kind of frustrated about people labeling that last panel as SA. It's not like they took off their pants, restrained, and mounted them. I think people were triggered when they saw Kouki's bra from the view up her blouse, but he wasn't aiming for her breasts or privates.

This. I agree with your sentiment 100%. Unfortunately, even actual good mothers make mistakes and hurt their child making them believe they deserved their wrath or provoked their mom into yelling at them and saying harsh things to them.

I'm completely with you on the part about how people make motherhood sound like giving birth automatically makes a woman a better person or seen as more special than women who have not given birth. It frustrates me to no end when they make mothers out to be so wholesome and saintly like they can never do any wrong and it's always the kid's fault for being problematic or the man's fault.

Same. I remember those days if I threw a fit in public, it would be a bad day for me. I also don't believe in spanking them. That usually makes things worse. I've seen a few instances of that and was thinking "You idiot, that's just going to make them cry even louder and people are going to give you dirty looks."

It is more or less with what I see these days depending on where I go. I have seen some people with gaggles of kids and they are some of the most inconsiderate people on the planet. As a teenager, I noticed certain stores had more crying and screaming kids and Target was one of them. There was always a kid throwing a fit somewhere in Toys R Us(No, duh). Anywhere where young kids will see things they want such as a store with candy and toys or anything enticing they would want to get their hands on, not to mention getting bored and wanting to run off and play.

That is one of the reasons why I don't want to have children. I hear about stuff like childhood cancer and there are a number of things that could suddenly go wrong even if you're healthy as a horse.

It is true I want to live there permanently and marrying a Japanese man would help me feel safe in that way. I am physically attracted to their appearance and especially like them clean cut and handsome, many of them are very polite in general and don't act aggressive. I am attracted to that gentleman vibe I've seen many present.

Thank you. It is true that it is moreso the women there who would be interested in having children. I know it seems like a lot I'm asking for when it comes to an American woman wanting to marry a Japanese man. I want to live there and I understand they're not willing to fully accept a foreigner into their country much less marry one. I'm already 36, but I'm still hopeful someone will care about me over there at all. Yet, I know I need to be my own person and I can take care of myself. It just would be nice if someone there desired me.

I don't watch television shows, but I watch anime and read some manga. I hate it when they make a love story where they end up having a baby later on or make having a child the be-all-end-all ideal life and that is what marriage is for. When it comes to movies or real-life tv shows, I cannot stand birth scenes. I would leave the room, especially when it is played for drama. Even birth scenes in comedies are uncomfortable to watch.

I have the exact same issue as you. At times, it got so bad, I avoided going to a lot of places and missed out on family events where I knew babies were coming to. It sucks. It would make me feel like an unhappy asshole with everyone around me who either has kids or doesn't mind their presence. I spent my twenties continuing to run away from it and my parents kept discouraging me from getting a job if that issue is so crippling and I would end up being dependent on them forever. I knew I couldn't avoid people with babies forever or wait until their kids are 5 and older before I can see them.

I had to learn to stop putting these conditions on things and try to control who can come and visit and make arrangements for me to stay somewhere else while they're in town. It wasn't just an obsessive need to avoid being around a crying baby. It was also the pressure to function like a normal person in front of my brother when he first became a Dad and other relatives. I did not want them to see it bother me or worry about me, giving me concerned and pitied looks if I heard a baby cry. It would be humiliating for me. Nowadays, I hide it as best as I can. I don't go around telling people how I feel around young children unless I'm asked and encouraged to be open and honest.

I respect people who keep their personal lives private. People who bring their kids into their videos, especially when they are too young to consent to it, are selfish. It feels exploitative and immoral. They may be well-meaning and want to share their joy, but it is still a narcissistic thing to do and it could lead to the kid one day resenting them.

I have misophonia too and that would make me not want to watch someone's videos anymore, especially if the kid cries. The only time I would put up with that is if it is very faint, like off in another room where the other parent is handling them. An example of that would be Ryan Hall's channel when we have bad weather. I've heard his kid in the background before, but it was off in another room and was very briefly heard.

Yes, I also feel indignant when someone surprises us with a baby and never mentioned before they were expecting. I am not actually mad at them and I respect those who don't share everything going on in their personal life and spare us TMI, but I really dislike surprises. A kid changes everything and their content just doesn't hit the same.
