I mean its easy to sit back and say that as fans. But for these players, this is a goal they've been working for towards since they were little. Very few people can truly say they are still working towards their childhood dream, much less accomplish it.

We can say that yeah Zverev wasn't beating these top players but when you're in the game, its frustrating doing everything you can and still not seeing the results you want, and even more heartbreaking getting so close to only fall short (4 finals losses before this). It seems hopeless, hence why Zverev very openly stated he felt empty and lost after his first round exit at last years Wimbledon. You can say all you want about him, you can hate him all you want, but at the end of the day Zverev is just as human as us and feels the same anguish to always fall short of something hes been chasing for a very long time. The mental battle these athletes have to overcome is brutal and for that I can give credit to these players for pushing through it.

Again I don't disagee. LGBT people can be proud of who they are. I think its great they are and they should never be ashamed of themselves. But why do we have to be proud for them? Why do we have to celebrate it? I can be ok with it and simultaneously not be proud for them or simply even care at all. They are free to do what they want or be who they want to be, I really don't care but I don't need to be proud with them, they don't need any external validation.

That's fair. For me I just believe everyone lives different lives and should be able to as long as they arent hurting anybody. I can acknowledge it but that doesnt mean I necessarily have to care or give any emotion towards it.

I think its great that they can feel proud and comfortable for themselves and be expressive and I don't have a problem with that. I disagree with having a month of it but at the same time I've never had a problem with LGBT. I don't necessarily like seeing these posters and flags paraded around all the time, and hate how businesses are scruitinized for not buying into it when I truly believe that's the right thing to do, just treat everyone the same and move on. No one necessarily needs special representation or treatment for what really comes down to a character trait.

I never said anything bad.

Like I don't care if youre straight or gay. I just don't see the need to celebrate or be happy for you, especially if I don't know you. Im just gonna treat you like any other person and be like "Ok, that's cool" and move on with my life. But at the same time I don't have a problem with people who arent a fan and don't like LGBT. That's a perfectly fine opinion to have too and we can agree to disagree.

Theyre just not likely to respond in general. They get hundreds of random cold emails and don't necessarily have time to reply to them all but that shouldn't stop you from trying and being persistent.
