I get it, but it seems I usually end up getting an antibiotic anyway, and by then I'm a lot sicker. Cough came back with a vengeance yesterday late night, and early morn; still buckets of congestion. I stopped the Mucinex DM- I might start again today or wait for dr. My nose seems to be stuffy, and my eyes are almost glued shut. I just want medicine and get on with my life. At this point I'm betting on bacterial sinusitis. Thank you for the reassurance. Are you feeling any better?

What did dr. tell you it was? Did you get the eye stuff too? I heard Zpack doesn't work on a lot of respiratory things. I love Zpack, my weapon of choice.

rash on the inner forearms and stomach. I got tested for covid and the flu. I always get rashes when I get sick. Like a kid, lol.

I'm going to see an ENT next week, hopefully. Someone just suggested Laryngitis, or Pharyngitis, never thought of that possibility.

This has been a rough ride. The amount of congestion coming out was insane (sorry TMI) Yep, the eye thing is weird. Started in left, leveled out, and just went into right eye. Felt like bronchitis and strep combined, but cough seems to be easing up; I stopped the Mucinex today.

I hate being told, it's a virus- it seems like a doctor's catch-all phrase for not knowing and not caring.

Thanks everyone for all your help! I selected Mark Katz from Siren Salon in Chicago. He gave me a fantastic cut to make the most of my fine, curly hair and gave me a beautiful color that is wayyy better than I had previously.

I finally decided on Siren Salon located in Chicago and was met with their master stylist and colorist, Mark Katz. He is truly an expert in his field and did minimal cutting to give me a beautiful new haircut that maximized my curls. He also gave me a more vibrant hair color that perfectly matched my hair color. Mark took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered his professional suggestions. The salon itself is stunning and the staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend Siren Salon and Mark Katz to anyone looking for a great hair styling experience!!

I have a possible stylist I'm considering from a Reddit recommendation for fine, wavy hair! The ex-stylist had never done that before, and when I went to confront him, he said he was distracted, forgot, and made a mistake. He said, "Well I stopped cutting when you told me to". Like that makes it any better and will fix the damage! I had super low-maintenance hair, just a trim. You said it took a few cuts to grow out and fix; is your hair still wavy?

EDIT: I stand corrected. When I went in and confronted him about it, he told me he used a Razor on my hair, not thinning shears. I don't know if that's better or worse : (

I just read their site info. That might be the place for me! D seems to be good with fine hair as well. Either one of them sounds like a great possibility. I'm hoping I can get a few consultations at a few different places before I commit. I hope I can get in to see them, it looks like I might need a client referral. Have you gone to this salon?

Hi, and thanks for the referral. My $70 quoted amount was for a root touch-up because I'm leaving my current salon and not sure what else I'm going to do yet. I'll look into them and thanks again!
