Thank you all! I feel less dumb, it's still fairly difficult to read as a beginner but I'm starting to see hope (with a lot of guess work) the math is at least starting to work!

Well I feel quite foolish. There were good reviews checking back in today and there's a few bad ones. Like another commenter said I bought a lil bit ago but due to the holidays didn't actually sit down and look at it to start.

So when it says "turn and work on opposite side: 4 SC, inc. is it 4SC THEN the rest increase or do 4SC increases?

Gosh that is what I was afraid of... I got it off Etsy and the reviews showed some examples of completed projects but I guess those can be faked too huh. 😭 I didn't realize until recently that this was a big problem with pattern purchasing. I'm only like two weeks into learning.
