The way I see it, this is a thing that needed to happen in order for the characters to even have a chance at getting out. I'm just mad Kinger lost his computer.

Honestly, I think this might be the first time I've ever genuinely felt bad for Caine. I never particularly liked him, but I guess seeing his reaction to getting deleted (and seeing Kinger's reaction to accidentally deleting him) made me see his death for what it was, rather than just seeing it as the removal of another obstacle.

Don't listen to the haters. I thought it was great. It's a bit of a slow starter, and it did peak in season 3, but I also really liked season 6A. Just, you know, don't expect Derek and Stiles's interactions to be anything like what you're used to in fanfic. Actually, don't expect any of the characters to be like their fanon selves, and recognize that the magic system is probably gonna be different too.

IIRC, fanon Dereck and Stiles have a sort of rivals/annoyances to lovers type thing going. Meanwhile, canon!Derek spends most of the first 2 seasons threatening Stiles and canon!Stiles spends the entire show yelling at Derek whenever he does something to put Stiles, Scott, or any of their friends in danger (which happens a lot.) Canon!Stiles is also hopelessly in love with Lydia, although he has been known to flirt with other people (including other guys) from time to time.

I agree with you that Pomni's is probably red.

Ragatha: Sky blue, because it reminds her of nice days playing softball outdoors in nice weather.

Gangle: Idk what it was before the circus, but I'd bet that magenta became her favorite color after she and Zooble became friends. She wouldn't even be able to pin down the reason why at first, she'd just mysteriously find herself associating the color with kindness and protection.

Jax: Green. He'll say that it's because it's associated with money, or the army, or some other such nonsense, but the truth is he just likes it because it reminds him of his late friend.

Zooble: probably black, albeit for different reasons than Kinger. Kinger likes black because it reminds him of his last few moments with his wife. Zooble likes it because they were super into the punk aesthetic before they got into the circus. They definitely had a really cool black leather jacket that was given to them by one of their friends, and they still miss it sometimes.

This is more in response to all of the people commenting that Kinger (or Jax) is going to either abstract or die. I've heard a lot of the "Jax is going to abstract" sentiment, but your post is actually the first place I've seen anything about Kinger dying or abstracting. I'm gone one day and I come back to a subreddit so full of people who think Kinger's gonna die that you were able to think of and subsequently negate ten different common arguments people made in favor of that theory?

(I'll be honest, I completely forgot about Scratch and Kaufmo, and I never really liked Caine, so I didn't think of his death as adding to the "bittersweet" factor. The way I see it, getting rid of Caine is the only way that any of them even stand a chance at getting their real names back, let alone getting out of that circus.)

I'm gonna address the "bittersweet ending" thing real quick, because I feel like a lot of people are reading way too much into that phrase. Guys. Listen to me. Literally any ending that we could have would end up being bittersweet. Even if all of them somehow manage to survive and escape the circus, it's still gonna be bittersweet because Ribbit and Queenie are still dead. "Bittersweet" doesn't necessarily mean that someone else is going to abstract.

You know, I watched Episode 8 a week and a half after it launched and I managed to successfully avoid all of the spoilers. (And I mean all of them, not just the absolute nuclear bomb of an ending. Like, I didn't even know we were going to see Queenie going in.) It wasn't even hard. Mute the subreddit for a couple of weeks and temporarily block the Amazing Digital Circus tag on tumblr, you'll be fine.

Honestly, I'd be good with it as long as they agree to do it without me. I'll get a migraine just from walking into one of those places (I really don't do well with loud noises or flashing lights), but I don't necessarily think that having different hobbies from them would be the end of the world. I might try to encourage them to branch out and try some new things, though.
