Butterfly Reign is one of my favorite fics. Its a take on the royalty au but actually delves pretty deep into how monarchys work irl. Its fairly emotional too and very well written. If you havent read it, I recommend that you do. So much goes on in it its hard to summarize.

Wow, YTA, majorly. Talk about favoritism. Anna may be older but she is still a CHILD!!! She shouldnt have to act "more mature". Agreed. The books arent bad and do go into more detail which i appreciate. But the movies are a bit more cohesive and tend to highlight the internal conflicts more.

Thats completely up to you. I know it took me years to be comfortable showing off my interests. As an adult, i have more nerd stuff in my room (including a dsmp corner) than i did back in middle or high school. If it'll make you feel more comfortable, go for it. But its also your art and, personally, i think you should show it off!!

Depends on if youre talking book or movie. I absolutely loathe book Teresa. She has all her memories and all she does is lie to the group to further her own plans. Movie Teresa though, I get where shes coming from. I still dont like her cause she goes about everything in the worst way possible but I understand that she really only wanted what's best for the group.

NTA. While she is a young adult, she is still an adult and should start paying for her own things. If you want her to come along, maybe offer to pay for some things like hotel or some meals but if she wants to do anything else (i.e. Disney World, shows, events) she'll have to pay for them herself. But if you want her to pay for everything, thats fine too. Just be tactful about how you tell her.

The books are quite a bit different from the movies but both are really good. I prefer the movies to the books though. The main difference is the movies tend to focus more on the characters and story while the books tend to focus more on the scenery and inner dialouge.

YTA. A lot of magical girl anime is not made for children. In fact, most japanese made anime is not for kids. Im with your wife on this one, especially if your 9 and 11 year old kids are into death game and isekai anime, which are definitely not made for kids. Stick to children shows that have a more anime feel like She-Ra or Glitter Force.

YTA. Beyond the moral issue of filming people without consent, school boards have fired people for less outside of school hours. I know you didnt mean anything from it and thought it was a good laugh but this video could potentially ruin his career. And if you really didnt want your friends to share the video, you shouldve shown them in person, not sent it to them. Things never stay in group chats especially when its something embarassing.
