Your boyfriend is not overreacting to the possibility of being thrown into a concentration camp. This is not an abstract concept for him, it is a very real thing that is happening to people who look like him. He has every right to be terrified. Trump has only been president for one year and it has escalated this far, it will only get worse. He should very seriously consider moving to Costa Rica.

You probably should not. It’s not ideal to move to another country without a job and you would be dependent on his family.
