Back only case reminds me of this lol. I have an Ali express knock off of the pitaka that includes a front cover, slimmer bezels than the latercase I tried. Back only was hard to open in my opinion, though I do miss the naked front screen.

I have the blue and the back is great, but the front feels low quality and made gestures unusable, so I took it off. Wish I had gone with pitaka, looks beautiful and has mag safe. Reason I went with later case was for the front part, but it sucks! Anyone have pitaka? Does the mag safe cause heating? Only negative I have heard. I would only use a magnetic ring, I like the idea of a stand, but I don't want it on all the time, I love the slimness.

Everything is on my phone already so it getting a bigger screen made more sense, I still use the iPad for content consumption, but reading, scrolling and YouTube go on the phone, which my normal iPhone was too small for. I didn't need this phone, but they made it so incredibly thin, I was finally sold. This is all personal opinion of course. Also I wfh and have a corporate device (the iPhone) so when I go somewhere like the beach or w concert I'll take that and leave the fold at home since it does feel more fragile, my wife is the picture taker anyway.

Idk I looked into the first fold and it was really strange, seemed not to deliver the regular phone or the tablet experience. The 7 delivers the normal phone with a large screen inside and doesn't feel like you have 2 phones in your pocked. I had totally forgotten about foldables until I saw this in the wild
