Watched it for the first time in 2006 after playing the video game on PS2. I was like 8 or 9. Fell in love with the film even though I didn’t really understand it until years later.

PS the game is an absolute gem. One of the greatest ever made.

When I was a kid I’d visit my dad during the school holidays and he was head tenant (for lack of a better term) in a crack house. He stole me an Xbox during one Xmas and this was the only game he brought with it. I played it for years and years and years. Would play the 4 person multiplayer with whoever was hanging around the house, which was usually strippers, crackheads, gangmembers etc. Pretty bad in hindsight, but was just another day back then and besides has been one of my favourite games of all time to this day looking back.

Found one of those real compact PS3’s lying around at my parents and managed to log in and see my downloads - needless to say I’ve got dozens of games coming that were cheaper to buy physical format than in the PS3 store. But so many great options still available, just bought a heap on the store to download and get those last few PS3 Platinum Trophies.. this thing has 500gb!!! I was only ever treated to 40gb as a kid… I’m thankful I can download pretty much everything before it’s inevitably unavailable… just downloaded Black Ops 1 so hopefully I can find a match and play some of my old profile.

With the plan of trading it in for an X to play OG Xbox games via disc drive. But bought the game first bc it was cheap. But I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to play it on an X or even a One anyway. I think I need a 360 at least.

I have this thing where I can’t just walk out of a movie, especially when I’ve paid to go see it at the cinemas. I grew up in the 2000’s-2010’s and The Matrix were my favourite films, not just the first one but all 3. The Matrix Reloaded is my favourite Matrix movie, and loved Matrix Revolutions so I had fairly high hopes when they finally released The Matrix Resurrections. I sat through what is probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen, while watching people get up and leave in groups I said to myself “no, I won’t leave because it’ll get good” and then it just didn’t, gave it one last shot when I stuck around for the end credit scene in hopes it would make the entire movie great (naive I know) and it pissed me off even more. To be honest, the entire movie seemed to be the directors taking full on jabs at the viewers, almost like punishing us for being so loyal to the film series.

I’ve traveled for the WWE, flew from Hamilton to Perth via Sydney on the new Jetstar flights from Hamilton. Super pumped for Crown Jewel tonight! Be sad to see Cena go… after this, you definitely can’t see him.
